The Musical Theater program at McCoy Rigby Arts is based in learning all aspects of the art of musical theater performance. Our goal is to create confident students by giving them not only the best training, but working with them on their own individual strengths as they continue to grow in both skill and as individuals. We have voice, acting, and dance classes taught by instructors with all different professional backgrounds, that focus and hone in on the skills our students need to pursue a career in the performing arts. Past productions have included: Seussical the Musical Jr., The Little Mermaid Jr., Annie, Meet me in St. Louis, Little Women, Once Upon a Mattress and …Spelling Bee, Oklahoma and Peter Pan!

“We love the Musical Theater department at McCoy Rigby Arts! Our children have participated in a number of shows over the years and have loved every minute of them. McCoy Rigby Arts provides a wonderful family-friendly environment for children to learn the skills they need to be successful in the theater world.”- The Bradley Family
“The musical theater department at McCoy Rigby Arts has in many ways become a home away from home for my sons. The staff is so supportive and caring. They take the time to get to know the kids personally and help them develop as people and performers. My oldest son is going to college next year as a theater major, and he has received such a strong foundation in all elements of theater, I feel confident in his continued success. Thanks McCoy Rigby Arts!”- Stacy Shube, Parent
“My son will not stop talking about his great acting and singing lessons at this awesome conservatory! He has hopes of making it big in musical theater and this studio teaches all aspects of that, from dance to singing. He’s so excited about the programs they have in place to get their young actors up on stage through their professional theater company and the connections the company has to the entertainment world. The owners are a Broadway star and producer, so they know what they’re doing and the staff they have know how to bring out young talent. I also see so many kids there for dance classes and aerial classes (the hanging from the ceiling on silks thing), which means they offer even more kinds of classes than we take. Can’t recommend enough the creative talent that is powering this place!”- Michael S., Parent
