Announcing MRCA’s All Ages Summer Showcase Production

We would like to announce our All Ages Summer Showcase Production….

“You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown”

Based on the Comic Strip “Peanuts” by Charles M. Schulz
Book, Music and Lyrics by Clark Gesner

Directed/Choreographed by: Sharie Nitkin

McCoy Rigby’s Summer Showcase is a three-week long summer intensive focusing on musical theatre training, with a group of talented and enthusiastic teachers serving as their director, choreographer, musical director, acting and dance coaches, and props master.

In addition to their production rehearsals, participants will have classes in singing, acting, and dance each and every day. They will also participate in exercises and drama games focusing on improvisation, clowning, stage combat, musical theatre dance styles, and even learn about stage makeup. Every child will finish the process with both audition and rehearsal skills, as well as greater confidence and sense of what “teamwork” is all about. This program is an action packed and fun rehearsal process which culminates in a fully produced professional production.

Note: For ages 5-7 there is a shortened day program, and for ages 7+ there is a full day rehearsal program.
